“Sunday evening rock.”
Aaron Cabbott Jones
@ Slow Burn Saloon

Ending the Sunday evening is always a thing – calm and relaxed or more rocking wildly? I decided on the latter and ended up in the Slow Burn Saloon for Aaron Cabbott Jones’ show.

@ Slow Burn Saloon

Aaron showed me right from the start that this would be a very enjoyable hour. The Pretenders, Bruce Springsteen and Steppenwolf… good old rock, perfect to lighten up my mood on this sunday evening. His voice is made for this kind of music, for me it just could be a bit louder compared to the music. But on the otherhand… so it matches the venue’s atmosphere. We were in a saloon, not a studio!

Aaron Cabbott Jones is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who has been in Second Life for almost 2 years now. Singing along to backstracks but also plays blues on electric guitar, he plays cover songs that range from Tom Petty, The Beatles, Otis Reading, 10,000 Maniacs to Steely Dan and of course his original material. Speaking about his own songs, he has an album out with 2 new singles – one of it is not released yet. Check it out.

More a barn than a saloon, the Slow Burn Saloon is a live music venue with regular shows and a lot of space. A big Confederate Flag on the dancefloor tells you what to expect: country, rock and a friendly crazy crowd.

Thank you Aaron – you rock!
