“From soul to disco.”

@ Colour of Whispers

You know that? Being in a couple of live music groups you often get notices, certain names stick in your mind and you think you should go and listen – but you never made it. One of this names is Hedy Patrucci and today I finally managed it to see her at Color of Whispers.

Good things are worth waiting for, I have nothing to add to that. I instantly loved her voice, although it could have been a bit louder in relation to the music. Having performed mostly slower songs, Hedy proofed after the mid of her show that she is also able to pace up. Starting there with Meghan Trainor’s “All about the bass” and ending with Village People’s “YMCA” it was a very dancable second half.

Hedy’s career in music began at the age of 6 when she performed at a local event with her brothers – the first song she sang was “Daddy’s Home”. Today, Hedy mesmerizes her audiences with her unique soulful voice, bringing to her stage many years of music experience and performances in real life. As Hedy has no website or calendar, be sure to join her group if you want to know when she plays next.

Colour of Whispers is beautiful glade with waterfalls in the background and no… the rushing of the water isn’t that noisy. They offer live music here often, so plan a visit on your next forest walk. I definitely do.

Thank you Hedy, what a wonderful show!
