TGIF! Yes… thank god it’s friday. And what can be better after a week of working? You’re right. Live music! And what is even better? Live music on a beach! So hello Party Beach Scheveningen and hello Katia Portugal.
Having seen several shows of Katia before I was perfectly aware of what I would get, a powerful and vibrant hour of live music with a good-humored performer leading through the show. Starting a bit slower but latest with the Status Quo / AC/DC block she got me in that party mood.
Katia has been doing internet performances for over 13 years now. Her wide range of styles coupled with an upbeat stage presence and her infectious laugh has drawn a large fan-base. Born in Croatia, her accent and her sultry, rough voice put together to a very unique vocal style. Perfect for rock, show tunes and ballads.
The Party Beach Scheveningen is another beach-themed venue which offers not just live music, they also have dj sets. So make sure you’ll hit their “happy friday” party.
