After a little break back and up for more live music. Usually inspired by group news, I often spontaneously decide to meet new artists and so it was DaLiLù’s show at the Rainbow Art Gallery yesterday.
I knew it right during the first song, this was a very good decision. Singing sopran and more classical DaLiLù’s show is definitely not mainstream but nevertheless fantastic. Great voice, great sound, great setlist. No matter if Santana, Eric Clapton or Nightwish, she gave the songs her own touch and when it came to classical music like Sarah Brightman or Andrea Bocelli her voice could fully unfold its power. Just superb.
DaLiLù is an italian singer who has been singing since her earliest youth. Passionate about music she is not only performing in Second Life but also performes regularly with a group in real life. Her repertoire covers recent and old italian songs, titles in english, french and even russian. With a soprano voice, DaLiLù is able to move through several octaves and to tackle classical pieces. Besides performing as a live singer, she is also known as a DJ for public entertainment with danceable tracks.
The Rainbow Art Gallery was founded about 10 years ago for visual artists to give them a place for displaying their art. Ever since they also offer 2-3 live music events per week. So when you plan a visit, be sure to take a look at all the art too. It’s worth it.
